Welcome to HungerMaps

Welcome to HungerMaps.org!

This is the first day our site is open to the public. If you heard about us this afternoon in D.C., you can find the slides to our presentation here.

We're still in "beta" mode, so you may find little mistakes here and there, or discover something doesn't work as well as you would like. Tell us about it - this site is designed to make our work as anti-hunger advocates easier, not harder. What do you want to see here? If you have any suggestions, feel free to email jcdwyer@hungermaps.org.

Blog Layout, Layout Blog

Alright, now the blog looks just like the site will come roll-out. Those of you following the blog from your favorite RSS reader won't be able to tell, but trust me, this look is much closer to the hungermaps.org look and feel than the Blogger template we were using. The links on the blog also expose much of our beta user interface, which, as of yet, isn't quite complete, so go easy on us for the next few days, thanks!

As an added bonus, here is the business card layout we just sent to the presses. You know you want one :-) Order now!

About this site

HungerMaps.org is a service to enable information exchange for the global community of organizations working to end hunger. We exist to help you share your data about local soup kitchens, food pantries, and emergency food programs. You can choose to share your data with the world or only a selected list of people.
